UI/UX Designer

About the Company

NomadicML is building a platform that unlocks machine intelligence from video footage. Their Vision-Language Models (VLMs) transform raw footage into structured intelligence for autonomy and robotics, partnering with leaders like Zoox, Qualcomm, and Boston Dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end user experience of the digital platform, including video upload, search, and review tools
• Design website landing pages, product demos, and marketing assets for technical buyers
• Create interactive prototypes in Figma to test ideas and communicate vision to engineering
• Partner with engineers to ship pixel-perfect implementations
• Build and maintain a scalable digital design system
• Lead and evolve the company's visual identity and brand guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
• Strong portfolio demonstrating visual taste and user-centered thinking across UI/UX and web design
• Ability to articulate design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Bias toward action and rapid iteration

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI, autonomous vehicles, or robotics
• Experience in early-stage startups or entrepreneurial projects
• Experience with A/B testing and data-informed design
