UHI Research Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and support clinical quality improvement activities in partner clinics
• Assist with data collection, management, and analysis for clinical and community-based research
• Collaborate with clinical teams, community health workers, and community-based organizations (CBOs)
• Ensure adherence to research protocols, regulatory requirements, and grant guidelines
• Support recruitment, enrollment, and retention of study participants in clinical and community settings
• Maintain accurate documentation, including data entry, regulatory files, and progress reports
• Facilitate communication among interdisciplinary teams to promote smooth project operations
• Assist in preparing materials for presentations, reports, and publications regarding program outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, Nursing, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical research coordination, quality improvement, or community-based research
• Knowledge of research regulatory requirements and IRB processes
• Ability to travel locally to partner clinics and community sites as needed
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with data management software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Commitment to health equity and experience working with diverse, underserved populations
