UG Transmission Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints
• Develop design deliverables for underground transmission lines, including plan and profiles, ampacity calculations, and duct bank design
• Perform and review calculations, develop plans, and schedule tasks to meet client needs
• Conduct field visits to verify routing conditions and parameters
• Develop project estimates and schedules while evaluating design options for technical merit
• Interact with personnel, contractors, regulatory representatives, and officials in a collaborative manner
• Review and approve drawings and material lists developed by designers

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
• EIT licensure or eligibility within the United States
• Experience with project execution, including client interaction and cost estimate preparation
• Strong proactive communication skills, both oral and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with engineering design software such as SAP2000, RISA 3D, SAFE, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or MathCAD
• Experience with Geotechnical engineering and survey-related work
