UC NOC Technician III

Responsibilities

• Execute network operations including configuration and analysis of customer circuits across TDM and SIP trunks
• Proactively monitor network alarms using platform-specific network management tools
• Utilize ServiceNow and other incident management applications to document outages, degradations, and resolutions
• Perform configuration maintenance on route plans, device profiles, and calling search spaces
• Provide timely situational awareness to leadership and stakeholders regarding network incidents
• Assess, identify, and recommend resolutions for network incidents or configuration deficiencies
• Work with UC stakeholders to ensure maximum network availability and minimize mission impact

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance
• U.S. citizenship
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
• General understanding of voice infrastructure and IP network topologies
• Ability to work in a 24x7 shift environment, including nights and weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tech control facilities or cyber transport
• Knowledge of routers, switches, crypto devices, Cisco, or Juniper technologies
• Experience with alarm surveillance, call routing, SIP, or packet capture analysis
• Familiarity with Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) or DSN Core
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
