UAV Technician/Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, and modify FPV drones, UAV systems, test articles, and R&D prototypes
• Perform soldering, wiring, connector maintenance, cable work, and basic electrical diagnostics
• Assist engineers with prototype integration, component installation, and troubleshooting
• Support flight tests by preparing equipment, managing batteries, and acting as technical ground support
• Maintain an organized technical workspace and manage tools and consumables
• Follow technical instructions and record modifications and issues to ensure process discipline

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with electronics, UAVs, FPV drones, robotics, or RC systems
• Practical soldering experience including wiring and small components
• Basic diagnostic skills such as continuity checks and structured troubleshooting
• Ability to assemble and maintain electromechanical systems using hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to build quality
• Ability to follow engineering guidance and maintain basic documentation
• Organized and comfortable working in workshop, lab, and field testing environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with FPV drone assembly, tuning, and maintenance
• Familiarity with UAV components like flight controllers, ESCs, VTX, and motors
• Understanding of FPV protocols such as ELRS, CRSF, or SBUS
• Familiarity with Betaflight, INAV, or ArduPilot
• Experience with 3D printing or LiPo/Li-ion battery safety
• English level B1+ or higher for reading technical instructions
