UAV Flight Operator - Demonstration Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, preparation, and execution of UAV demonstration campaigns and operational deployments
• Act as the primary operational focal point for the Demonstration Team
• Build and maintain demonstration schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
• Coordinate aircraft availability, maintenance, payload integration, and system readiness
• Supervise UAV operators, technicians, and support personnel during deployments
• Monitor operational risks and implement mitigation measures
• Oversee flight operations and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Support customer-facing activities and represent Destinus during evaluations
• Maintain operational documentation, deployment plans, and post-mission reports

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in UAV operations, military aviation, aerospace operations, or flight testing
• Proven experience leading operational teams or complex field activities
• Military background strongly preferred (aviation, reconnaissance, UAV, or special operations)
• Strong engineering understanding to collaborate with technical teams
• Experience managing aircraft readiness and mission execution
• Deep understanding of UAV systems, avionics, telemetry, and communication systems
• Strong project planning and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel internationally for deployments
