UAV Avionics Assembler IV

Responsibilities

• Lead avionics assembly execution for product lines, programs, or production cells
• Own assembly sequencing, build standards, and workmanship consistency
• Partner with manufacturing engineering on tooling, fixtures, and work instruction development
• Support production readiness reviews, rate increases, and design transitions
• Lead workmanship investigations and corrective action implementation
• Train, coach, and support the avionics assembly team
• Build complex avionics assemblies and high-density wiring harnesses
• Perform detailed inspections and advanced continuity and isolation testing
• Maintain accurate as-built documentation and material traceability via MES

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical degree
• 7+ years of avionics or high-reliability electronics assembly experience
• Demonstrated leadership without formal people management
• Deep understanding of aerospace quality systems and production risk
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree
• IPC 610 certification
• IPC 620 Certification
