UAV Avionics Assembler III

Responsibilities

• Build complex avionics assemblies and high-density wiring harnesses with minimal supervision
• Execute first-article, prototype, or low-rate initial production builds
• Interpret incomplete or ambiguous documentation and work with engineering to resolve issues
• Perform detailed inspections and advanced continuity and isolation testing
• Support root cause investigations related to assembly workmanship
• Mentor and train Avionics Assembler I–II personnel
• Provide feedback on manufacturability and assembly process improvements
• Maintain accurate as-built documentation and material traceability via MES
• Adhere to AS9100, FAA, and internal quality requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of avionics or aerospace electronics assembly experience
• Advanced knowledge of wiring practices, connector systems, and workmanship standards
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree
• IPC 620 certification
