UAV Avionics Assembler II

Responsibilities

• Assemble avionics components, electromechanical assemblies, and wiring harnesses from engineering drawings and schematics
• Perform wire terminations, connector installations, and harness routing to specification
• Conduct continuity checks and basic functional testing
• Identify and escalate non-conformances and workmanship issues
• Maintain accurate as-built documentation and material traceability via MES
• Adhere to AS9100, FAA, and internal quality requirements
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering to resolve discrepancies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years of experience in electronics, avionics, or precision assembly
• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and BOMs
• Experience using standard avionics assembly tools and test equipment
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
