About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute structured drone test flights in manual and autonomous modes
- Perform pre- and post-flight checks and manage equipment logistics
- Operate in various field environments and weather conditions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to surface observations and anomalies
- Support data collection and troubleshooting for new drone systems
Requirements
- Part 107 certification
- 100+ logged flight hours
- Experience with FPV/Acro Mode
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and operational risk
- Experience with PX4, ArduPilot, Auterion, or Herelink systems
- Ability to work onsite in Bay Point, CA or Petaluma, CA
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in drone development, aerospace, or robotic testing
- Strong analytical thinking and technical troubleshooting skills
