UAS Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain master engineering project schedules, including risk and issue registers for projects of varying complexity
• Drive weekly goal setting and achievements for project teams through efficient coordination and status updates
• Ensure all engineering deliverables are accounted for, including BOM, drawing releases, configuration control, and verification testing
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and obstacles to maintain focus on core deliverables
• Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and analyze critical paths, resource utilization, and cost
• Create weekly status briefs and materials for project reviews
• Improve engineering project management processes and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent)
• 10+ years of professional experience
• 5+ years of experience in product development engineering, leading hardware through the full development cycle
• 5+ years of experience in project management, managing multiple engineering teams and projects
• Proficiency in MS Project or similar systems for integrated scheduling and reporting
• Must be a US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder, or covered under existing ITAR license)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PDM/ERP systems
• Experience managing or supporting software development projects in compliance with DO-178 certification standards
