Tutor

Responsibilities

• Implement assigned reading or math curricula through small group instruction and classroom assistance
• Plan and execute targeted teaching opportunities to help students reach grade-level benchmarks
• Collaborate with teachers and campus administration to integrate intervention goals into classroom instruction
• Maintain accurate documentation of student support and tutoring activities in the district database
• Communicate effectively with parents, administrators, and teachers regarding student progress and goals
• Utilize technology to strengthen the teaching and learning process
• Manage student behavior in both traditional classroom and distance learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
• Ability to manage student behavior effectively
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use technology for instructional purposes
• Ability to maintain detailed student logs and documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the assigned subject and level
