Tutor

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group tutoring in assigned academic areas
• Attend all assigned classes and required homework sessions on time
• Participate in scheduled academic and administrative meetings and training sessions
• Maintain accurate student attendance records and report absences or concerns to Faculty/TAs
• Provide timely feedback on student progress and academic difficulties
• Serve as a positive role model for students in and out of the classroom
• Maintain professional conduct and appropriate classroom attire

Requirements

• Minimum 2.8 cumulative grade point average
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in the area(s) to be tutored
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise good professional judgment
• Ability to be decisive and authoritative when necessary

• Competitive hourly rate of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
