The Middlebury College Kathryn Wasserman Davis School of Russian combines a cultural immersion environment with rigorous daily classroom instruction. The School of Russian provides a community of learners who pledge to read, write, and speak exclusively in Russian.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group tutoring for language learners requiring extra academic support
• Support the overall mission of the School of Russian through co-curricular and cultural offerings
• Support teaching, dining, residing, and recreational activities with students

Requirements

• Academic background in Russian
• Experience as a Russian tutor in group and individual settings
• Experience with and sensitivity to very diverse groups of learners
• Native or near-native proficiency in Russian, oral and written
• Enthusiastic, dynamic, and confident approach to tutoring and teamwork

Benefits
