Turnkey Tender Cost Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner to the Tender Manager, overseeing turnkey costing and overall pricing throughout the full tender cycle
• Support the bid manager in preparing Instructions For Quotation (IFQ) in accordance with pricing strategy
• Define cost structures for bids based on RFP terms and conditions
• Lead cost estimation activities using a target cost approach across all participating units and subsystems
• Collaborate with central Finance teams to calculate additional costs such as bonds, financing, hedging, and insurance
• Prepare costing packages for Tender Review Meetings (TRM), including cost analysis, bridges, and cash curves
• Manage cost estimation for changes during the negotiation phase and update cost commitments
• Transfer tender costing data and assumptions to the Project team during the Tender Transfer Meeting (TTM)

Requirements

• Engineering degree or Business School degree
• Minimum 5 years of industry experience
• Solid experience in Finance, project driving, or bid costing
• Proven ability to build complex cost models
• Ability to recognize product costs and understand operational flows (engineering, manufacturing, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills and rigor
• Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the Railway industry
• Deep knowledge of industrial costing processes
