Turnkey Bid Director

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) of critical turnkey bid offers from inception through to the Transfer to Manufacturing (TTM) phase.
• Deliver optimal proposals with defined scopes, accurate QCDP commitments, and timely delivery within budget.
• Coordinate internal activities to identify and understand client needs during the pre-offer phase.
• Define operational and commercial strategies for bids, including the preparation of Instructions for Quotation (IFQ).
• Manage bid budgets according to the Cost Authorization Process and oversee risk and opportunity reviews.
• Lead and manage the bid team, ensuring close collaboration with subsystem managers and stakeholders.
• Participate in contractual negotiations and client negotiation meetings.
• Support Project Managers in preparing the first financial project review (FPR0) and closing pending bid management actions.

Requirements

• University degree in Engineering, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• 10 years of experience in Project or Bid Management.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing cross-border teams.
• Technical understanding of complex systems and products.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes and governance procedures in long-term projects.
• Proven negotiation skills and a strong client orientation.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and teamwork abilities.
