Turning Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, assemble, and polish metal components to construct tools and industrial machinery
• Measure large and small components to ensure precise fit and assembly according to final designs
• Study assembly specifications and engineering drawings to identify potential production problems
• Operate manual lathe machines and perform fabrication tasks
• Maintain equipment and ensure all tasks are executed according to HSE standards
• Collaborate with machinists and other departments to ensure timely and accurate production

Requirements

• ITI Technical certificate or Diploma in Mechanical engineering
• 5-7 years of experience in engineering/design production or shop drawings
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience with manual lathe machines and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
• Proficiency with Siemens and Fanuc control operating systems
• Fluency in both Hindi and English
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in the in-line inspection industry
