Turbomachinery Intern

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real challenges
• Work closely with mentors and employees to grow technical and professional skills
• Attend frequent 1:1s with mentors and supervisors for progress updates
• Support build activities in a fast-paced development and production environment
• Participate in tech talks and networking events

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in engineering, physics, or math
• At least one semester of school remaining post-internship
• GPA of 3.0 or above
• 3+ months of applied engineering experience (internship, lab, or project work)
• Ability to work full-time on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting August or September 2026

Preferred Qualifications

• GPA of 3.5 or above
• 6+ months of applied engineering experience
• Experience with CAD/CAM (Solidworks, Catia, NX)
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience
• Proficiency in ANSYS, Matlab, Python, or Solidworks
• Knowledge of heat transfer and fluid mechanics
• Experience with aerodynamics or compressible flow
• Hands-on hardware experience
• Basic understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
