Tugger Driver

Responsibilities

• Supply assembly lines with necessary materials to meet production output requirements at appropriate intervals
• Operate tuggers and delivery vehicles to transfer material between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas
• Load, unload, inspect, and prepare delivery vehicles and high-frequency delivery carts
• Follow established delivery routes and time schedules to ensure line-side availability
• Perform routine pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment to ensure safe working conditions
• Ensure all materials and finished goods are properly stored, labeled, and documented
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure parts are stored in designated locations
• Report any equipment defects or safety hazards to supervision immediately

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Certified Forklift Driver
• Proven excellent safety record
• Knowledge of ISO 14001: 2015 and IATF 1649 standards
• Strong English communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to work daily and weekend overtime as required
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and manually move up to 35 lbs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy plant floor environment
