Tug Driver/Yard Hand/Trade Assistant

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard and workshop environment
• Move trucks, trailers, and service vehicles between Linfox sites and external vendors
• Support workshop trades with general trade assistant duties
• Operate the automatic truck wash and maintain wash/yard areas
• Support the day-to-day movement and flow of fleet through the Service Centre
• Adhere to all safety standards and Chain of Responsibility requirements

Requirements

• Current HC or MC truck licence (essential and non-negotiable)
• Previous experience in a yard, workshop, or transport environment
• Confidence moving trucks and trailers in tight yard spaces
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong work ethic and reliability
