Tufting Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate a 240-end single-level creel tufting machine to meet daily production and quality standards
• Inspect finished turf products to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications
• Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on tufting equipment to minimize downtime
• Maintain adequate fiber and backing material supplies for continuous operation
• Accurately record production data, downtime, and material usage
• Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Work the night shift schedule: 7pm-7am, Monday through Thursday

Requirements

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with machine operation
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and measurements
• Basic math skills for material calculations and production reporting
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, textiles, carpet, or tufting
