About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and improvement of processes to ensure stabilization, cost reduction, and variance reduction.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Kaizen, TQM, and TPM methodologies.
- Develop monitoring systems to identify trends and anomalies, such as green/cured waste, and implement countermeasures.
- Lead and develop a culture of structured problem-solving and mentor engineers within business teams.
- Assist production managers with manufacturing process troubleshooting.
- Act as a liaison between the plant and the central process engineering organization.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety (ESH) procedures, environmental rules, and legal requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or tire engineering.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship is not available).
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled manufacturing environment involving temperature swings, noise, and physical tasks such as walking long distances or lifting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
