TSC Technician Sr

Responsibilities

• Repair, test, maintain, and update Volkswagen and Audi vehicles to the latest technical levels
• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs that exceed the capabilities of dealer personnel and field technical support
• Develop and document repair procedures, validate diagnostics, and verify service publications
• Evaluate and repair company buy-back vehicles, including testing for emissions and drivability
• Test vehicles under varying conditions to determine and document the root cause of technical issues
• Provide technical input to Product Planning, Technical Training, and Product Support teams
• Support dealership repairs and technical product investigations onsite when required
• Manage service parts and labor data within the DMS system
• Develop and manufacture test fixtures and diagnostic techniques to support vehicle testing

Requirements

• 7+ years of automotive diagnostic and repair experience, including high-voltage vehicle repair
• Extensive knowledge of Volkswagen and/or Audi products and diagnostic processes
• Advanced level of ODIS diagnostic experience
• Hybrid and high-voltage battery diagnostic and repair experience
• ASE Master Certification or relevant ASE technical certifications
• Degree or certificate in Automotive Technology
• High-level Volkswagen or Audi Technical Training
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

• Master Technician Certification or equivalent experience
• German and/or Spanish language skills
• Experience with international cooperation and working across cultural differences
