Trust and Safety Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assess and take appropriate action on user reports of Twitch policy violations promptly and effectively
• Prioritize swift action on sensitive community issues, including child safety, terrorism, and violent extremism
• Review and respond to internal and external escalations
• Participate in shift rotation, including some weekends and holidays
• Maintain expert understanding of Twitch’s policies, site features, and internal documentation
• Actively identify areas for improvement using a data-driven approach to mitigate risk
• Leverage AI tooling and SQL to build efficiencies and streamline workflows

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, Investigations, Fraud Prevention, or Content Moderation
• Experience investigating complex user, content, or platform safety issues and making risk-based decisions in ambiguous situations
• Familiarity with SQL, data analysis tools, or AI-assisted workflows
• Ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Willingness to participate in a shift rotation

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with AWS infrastructure
• Experience with email or notification technologies
• Experience writing Go in production systems
