About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality sales and expertise for Trust & Estate management to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Collaborate with Private Wealth and Client Strategy teams to ensure a holistic, coordinated client experience aligned with family wealth plans.
  • Build and nurture relationships with centers of influence, including legal advisors, tax professionals, and family offices, to drive referrals.
  • Represent BMO Trust Services at client events, professional forums, and community engagements.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing relationships and develop new business through presentations and outreach.
  • Act as a Relationship Manager for assigned clients, recommending and implementing solutions based on business and client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with risk and regulatory processes to safeguard customer assets and maintain privacy.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in trust or estate services.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
  • In-depth knowledge of Personal Trust Administration processes and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of Trust Tax, Trust Accounting, and Investment Management.
  • Strong understanding of fiduciary laws, including estate planning techniques and relevant tax regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
