About the role
Responsibilities
- Use processes and documentation to complete truck upfitting in a timely manner
- Install diesel, gas, or PTO driven electric generators
- Install water pumps, hose reels, and plumb all connections
- Install shelving, racks, hooks, and other storage media
- Run and connect wires for strobe lights, outlets, and work lights
- Ensure components are installed with quality and safety
- Perform welding on aluminum and steel
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Previous fabrication and component installation experience
- General knowledge of vehicle electrical systems
- Fabrication experience
- General mechanical knowledge
- Possession of a reasonable set of tools
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction and concrete industries
