Responsibilities

• Receive driver and owner/operator reports and conduct initial inspection to diagnose problems using test drives and test instruments
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, steering and suspension, and electrical diagnostics on medium and heavy duty trucks
• Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components
• Responsible for getting equipment back up and running in the most efficient and cost-effective manner available
• Perform all tasks according to Charger safety procedures

Requirements

• Valid G-class driver’s license with clear driving record
• Knowledge of truck parts, equipment, and truck repairs
• Effective problem solver with the ability to find solutions in a timely manner
• High attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 310T and/or 310J licenses
• Knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations
