Truck Operator

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver products safely and efficiently to customers.
• Review orders, STB POD slips, and weighbridge slips to ensure accuracy.
• Adhere to assigned delivery routes, schedules, and transportation laws.
• Conduct regular checks on operating equipment and vehicles.
• Utilize the D Track App to review electronic PODs and delivery instructions.
• Provide professional customer service and handle queries on-site.
• Follow all company safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Document deliveries by taking photographs of locations via the designated WhatsApp group.

Requirements

• Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver's licence.
• Valid PDP licence.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Code 14 truck driver.
• English literacy (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Physically fit and in good health.
• Professional driving record and sober habits.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in bulk material transportation.
• Familiarity with electronic POD systems and mobile applications.
• Strong time management and route planning abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail regarding documentation.

Benefits

• Salary: R13,000 – R14,000 CTC per month (based on experience).
