Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous daily drop-off and pick-up services to assigned Thrift Stores using a 5-ton truck
• Operate standard warehouse equipment including forklifts, balers, compactors, and pallet jacks
• Assist with warehouse operations and cross-docking to facilitate product movement
• Perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain logbooks, and adhere to all CVOR requirements
• Provide excellent guest service when assisting donors at the Distribution Centre
• Complete refuse runs to the landfill and comply with all Health and Safety policies

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in the safe operation of 5-ton trucks
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver's abstract
• Forklift certification
• 1 year of experience working in a warehouse environment
• Physical ability to frequently lift, carry, stand, walk, bend, and twist, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent
• Ability to work in various environments, including exposure to heat, cold, and dust
• Ability to undergo successful background and screening checks
