Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, warehouse locations, and suppliers using a delivery van or box truck
• Inspect company vehicles for defects and complete daily inspection reports
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and service requirements, alerting supervisors to necessary repairs
• Follow all DOT, local, and state driving laws and regulations
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring all materials are correct in quantity and type and free of damage
• Complete all necessary documentation, including delivery receipts, packing lists, and manifests
• Pick up material returns and verify quantities and catalog numbers
• Assist with warehouse duties such as order preparation, receiving, and stocking as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record with no at-fault accidents or suspended licenses in the past 3 years
• Must obtain a valid medical certificate within 60 days of hire
• Ability to handle loads with a combined weight not exceeding 26,000 GVW
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
