Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely transport oversize, overweight, and specialized freight within designated local and regional operating areas
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant
• Secure cargo using chains, binders, straps, tarps, and other approved load securement methods
• Follow permit requirements, approved routes, escort instructions, and all applicable transportation regulations
• Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and required transportation documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, escorts, and operations personnel

Requirements

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Appropriate endorsements for oversize heavy haul transportation
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oversized heavy haul transportation
• Strong safety record and commitment to compliance
• Ability to handle irregular routes within the Midwest region

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with permits, escorts, and oversize routing
