Truck Driver I

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, warehouse locations, and suppliers using a delivery van or box truck
• Inspect company vehicles for defects and complete daily inspection reports
• Maintain clean and serviced vehicles, alerting supervisors to necessary repairs
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring all materials are correct in quantity and type and free of damage
• Follow all DOT, local, and state driving laws and regulations
• Complete all necessary delivery documentation, including signed receipts and manifests
• Pick up material returns and inspect their condition and quantity
• Support warehouse duties such as order preparation, receiving, and stocking as needed

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• Clean motor vehicle record (no suspended license or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years)
• Ability to obtain a non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to handle loads with a combined weight not exceeding 26,000 GVW

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in professional driving or warehouse environments
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
