About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate off-road and dump trucks to transport production materials
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of materials to designated locations
- Comply with all safety standards and company policies
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and incidents
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when necessary
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding route changes or delays
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class D commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum 6 months of truck driving experience, preferably with off-road or dump trucks
- Clean driving record without serious violations
- Knowledge of safety procedures for truck driving and material handling
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile communication devices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
