Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Deliver food, supplies, materials, and equipment to specified locations in a timely fashion
• Haul trash, furniture, and construction materials
• Load trucks or vans based on route delivery records
• Operate power machinery including forklifts and power pallet jacks
• Verify inventory load contents against delivery records
• Maintain accurate records, including mileage logs, delivery records, and maintenance requests
• Perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping

Requirements

• 4 years of experience operating motorized vehicles
• Valid Ohio Class B Commercial Driver's License (C.D.L.)
• Ability to lift and maneuver supplies and materials in excess of 100 pounds
• Ability to pass an annual Ohio Department of Education physical
• Ability to pass a Federal and State Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation report
• Must be insurable by the Board of Education's insurance carrier
