Truck Driver, Class A - Long-haul Oversize

Responsibilities

• Safely transport oversize, overweight, and specialized freight throughout the United States and Canada
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant
• Secure cargo using chains, binders, straps, tarps, and other approved load securement methods
• Follow permit requirements, approved routes, escort instructions, and all applicable transportation regulations
• Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and required transportation documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, escorts, and regulatory agencies

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oversized heavy haul transportation
• Experience with permits, escorts, route planning, and specialized transportation requirements
• Strong safety mindset with a clean driving record
• Availability for long-haul assignments lasting approximately 3 to 4 weeks at a time
