Truck and Trailer Equipment Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on semi-tractors, trailers, and tankers
• Perform general maintenance of equipment and component replacement
• Maintain a high level of safety and detail orientation in a fast-paced shop environment
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to service a modern fleet

Requirements

• Diesel or Heavy Equipment Maintenance degree or 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Possess a Class A CDL or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to supply your own hand tools
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours and lift/carry up to 100 pounds
• Willingness to live in close proximity to Madison, WI

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with refrigerant recovery
• Experience with confined space training or tanker regulations
• Experience with Thermo King or Carrier equipment
