Troubleshooter/Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform service, installation, and commissioning work on rail vehicles at various locations.
• Connect systems to existing infrastructure, test functions, optimize, and adjust settings.
• Diagnose, specify, and analyze faults, proposing and implementing corrective measures.
• Maintain systems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and advise customers on preventive maintenance.
• Create technical documentation, including reports, measurement protocols, and updated wiring or revision plans.
• Manage tools, materials, and spare parts required for specific projects.
• Provide guidance and instruction to less experienced team members or colleagues.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in the electrical field.
• Knowledge of rail vehicle control systems and drive technology.
• Proficiency in computer-aided control and diagnostic systems for rail vehicles.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluency in German and basic knowledge of English.
• Ability to work independently within a team-oriented environment.
• Full willingness to travel (100%).
