TRIO Associate Academic Coach

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive academic, personal, and career advising to support student success and retention within the TRIO/SSS Program.
• Ensure strict compliance with all federal TRIO/SSS Program regulations and guidelines.
• Manage an assigned caseload by coordinating qualitative and quantitative student experiences.
• Develop and implement intervention and referral strategies to support student transitions to appropriate college programs.
• Track and assess student progress through detailed record-keeping and data management.
• Facilitate outreach and recruitment efforts to engage diverse student populations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Three (3) years of experience in advising, mentoring, tutoring, student programming, or student services in an educational or programming setting.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and recruitment efforts.
• Experience using early alert or advising systems powered by predictive analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in student personnel services, adult learning and development, counseling, guidance, education, or a related field.
