TRIO Associate Academic Coach

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive academic, personal, and career advising to students within the TRIO/SSS Program.
• Ensure strict compliance with all federal TRIO/SSS Program regulations and guidelines.
• Develop and implement intervention and referral strategies to promote student success and retention.
• Manage and track a student caseload using assessment tools and predictive analytics.
• Facilitate successful student transitions into appropriate college programs.
• Coordinate qualitative and quantitative student experiences to improve graduation rates.
• Engage in student recruitment efforts and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Three (3) years of experience in advising, mentoring, tutoring, student programming, or student services in an educational setting.
• Experience working directly with diverse student populations and participating in recruitment efforts.
• Experience using early alert or advising systems powered by predictive analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in student personnel services, adult learning and development, counseling, guidance, education, or a related field.
