Responsibilities

• Own the intake process for all incoming client matters, assessing legal nature and complexity
• Handle standard paralegal tasks including minor agreement revisions, entity filings, and NDA reviews
• Route attorney-required matters to the appropriate team based on complexity and specialty
• Maintain and update standard document templates and firm SOPs
• Serve as a consistent point of contact for clients regarding matter status and timelines
• Proactively follow up with attorneys and clients on open items and upcoming deadlines
• Work with engineering teams to refine intake and routing workflows

Requirements

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of paralegal or legal operations experience
• Solid foundation in commercial contracts and general corporate matters
• Located in Pacific Time or Central Time
• Strong organizational and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a high-growth startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in legal tech or in-house legal environments
• Experience with project management tools like Notion, CRMs, or workflow automation
• Tech-forward mindset with interest in AI-driven legal services

• Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000
