Triage Engineer

Responsibilities

• Synthesize test output data analysis in relation to systems engineering and safety requirements for expected AV behavior
• Triage drive data failures, attempt reproduction in simulation, and re-assign issues to the correct functional owners and development teams
• Partner closely with software development teams to maintain a rapid and iterative feedback loop
• Ensure the reliability and performance of automotive products through rigorous verification processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems, Software, or Robotics) or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional experience working on safety-critical and complex systems (Robotics, AV, Automotive, or Aerospace)
• Proficiency in software engineering concepts including requirements analysis, source control, and build processes
• Experience with Linux and scripting languages such as Bash/Shell or Python
• Experience with issue tracking and configuration management tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git)
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical problem-solving skills
