Tree Planter

Responsibilities

• Plant seedling trees and ensure proper seedling handling and care
• Select appropriate planting locations and inspect tree quality and spacing
• Accurately record and document the number of trees planted
• Load boxes, move equipment, and assist with camp infrastructure setup or takedown
• Actively participate in and support a culture of safety

Requirements

• Commitment to the spring and summer planting season (Early May to mid-August)
• Ability to carry 50+ pounds
• Willingness to live and work in remote bush camp settings
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, and oral comprehension)
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both individually and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• B.C. Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification (or equivalent)
