About the role
Responsibilities
- Meet with patients to discuss treatment plans, procedures, and financial obligations
- Provide educational materials and answer patient questions regarding treatment options
- Coordinate scheduling for surgeries, treatments, and follow-up appointments
- Manage financial coordination including cost estimates, insurance review, and payment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Perform follow-up calls to patients to address roadblocks to treatment completion
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA and healthcare privacy regulations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, specifically in treatment coordination or patient care
- Full understanding of surgical guide treatment from consultation to execution
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and office software
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare compliance
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
