About the role
Responsibilities
- Engage with patients to explain treatment options and address concerns
- Collaborate with the dental team to create comprehensive treatment plans
- Schedule appointments for treatments, consultations, and follow-up visits
- Assist patients with insurance coverage, financial obligations, and cost estimates
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Work with administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Handle patient concerns and escalate issues as necessary
Requirements
- At least 2 years of dental experience
- 3-5 years of experience in a dental office or similar patient-facing role
- Experience in treatment planning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in dental software and basic computer skills
- Understanding of dental terminology and insurance processes
- High school diploma
