Tray Fabricator

Responsibilities

• Fabricate cable trays, including ladder and perforated types, and related accessories
• Perform cutting, bending, drilling, welding, and assembly of tray components
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, sketches, and material schedules accurately
• Mark out materials according to specific dimensions and technical specifications
• Assemble tray sections, joints, bends, tees, reducers, and fittings
• Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and high-quality finishing of all fabricated items
• Work with various materials including GI sheets, MS sheets, and aluminum
• Coordinate with the site installation team to meet fabrication requirements
• Maintain fabrication tools, machinery, and workshop cleanliness
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards to minimize material wastage

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in HVAC or MEP fabrication works
• ITI or a relevant educational background in a technical field
• Strong expertise in metal fabrication, preferably with cable trays or MEP works
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements accurately
• Basic welding and fitting knowledge (TIG, MIG, or arc welding is an advantage)
• Good understanding of measurements, angles, and alignment
• Physical fitness to work in both workshop and site environments
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on Oil & Gas sector projects
• Willingness to work in remote locations as required by project needs
