About the role
Responsibilities
- Support veterinary shift coverage needs within Heart + Paw locations in the Northeast area
- Practice client and patient-centered veterinary medicine
- Promote and practice top quality preventative care
- Maintain and properly use all center equipment
- Support Partner Doctors in marketing pet centers to the local community
- Comply with local, state, and federal laws and quality standards
Requirements
- Professional licensure in good standing with the applicable state veterinary board
- DEA and CDS credentials as applicable
- 2+ years of clinical experience
- Ability to travel to Northeast area locations for shifts
- Ability to oversee sedation and perform anesthetic procedures
- Must obtain USDA accreditation for supported states within 6 months
- Strong interpersonal and client communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Surgical and/or dental capabilities
- Emergency or urgent care experience
- Fear Free, CALM, and/or HABRI certification

- Up to $100,000 sign-on bonus
- Premium base compensation plus production pay
- Travel reimbursement for mileage outside 25-mile radius
