About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term rotational coverage (minimum of one week) in assigned neurology territories across the East region.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives by executing approved selling strategies and dynamic territory business plans.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts in vacant territories, triaging requests to internal team members.
  • Engage healthcare professionals, including neurologists and ALS center staff, to communicate scientific and clinical information.
  • Build and sustain professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and medical staff.
  • Partner with Medical Science Directors, Patient Access teams, and HUB services to ensure patient access and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain high standards of ethics and compliance, logging all activities in CRM and managing travel and expenses.
  • Travel 100% to support various territories, launches, and performance acceleration needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Proficiency in Veeva, Concur, and Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Office 365, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 100%.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and territory planning abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in Neurology or rare disease sales.
  • Experience supporting established neurology or CNS products.
