About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and budget for construction and mining equipment fleets
  • Improve equipment reliability and availability using failure analysis data
  • Implement, monitor, and audit preventative maintenance programs
  • Manage material handling, procurement, and inventory for parts
  • Conduct inspections of equipment and parts
  • Support craft maintenance technicians by ordering parts and scheduling crews
  • Maintain documentation, including tool and filter lists
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental requirements

Requirements

  • AS/BS degree in Diesel/Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
  • Willingness to travel and relocate as required
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to access construction sites and equipment yards in various climates

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience with equipment
  • 1+ year of experience with equipment planning, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Knowledge of CAD modeling programs
