Traveling Electrical Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Mentor and help to grow Junior Superintendents
• Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
• Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
• Review, approve, and negotiate change orders
• Develop and implement plans for project completion and turnover
• Maintain daily diaries for record-keeping purposes
• Ensure all performance evaluations for direct reports are completed in a timely fashion
• Maintain positive working relationships with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors

Requirements

• 10+ years of construction experience
• 5+ years in a Superintendent or leadership capacity
• Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and identify/resolve complex problems
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to travel to various locations as work dictates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within the Oil, Gas, and Chemical (OGC) industry
