Traveling CDL B Driver

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local regulations
• Label containers and complete manifests and work orders
• Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers and conduct lab pack operations
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report spills or accidents immediately
• Provide hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal services from customer sites
• Process Universal Hazardous Waste manifests, bills of lading, and LDRs
• Operate hand trucks, drum dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of assigned company vehicles

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Valid CDL Class B
• DOT HAZMAT Endorsement
• Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform extensive overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Environmental, Regulatory, and DOT rules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with Driver E-Logs
• Waste industry experience
